    Weight:  208.6 g   (13.52 grams)             Diameter:  28.8 mm             Reverse die alignment: 340°

    Comments:  This is the most common variety of the Mott token, on a thick planchet with a plain edge. The present example is somewhat more off center than usual and shows some pitting on the reverse. Also, it was struck before the die break developed on the reverse. Many examples show a die break (as a blotch) that develops from the top left corner of the clock. In rather late examples it is a large blotch that goes out to the N.Y. in the outer line of the legend. On the debate over the dating of this token see the introduction.
